Seller Note

Overview Baltic Custom 87 for sale: ANNY is a remarkable high performance sailing yacht that quite simply, does it all. Her Judel/Vrolijk design and Baltic quality build were 20 years ahead of her time when she was launched in 1996. Now, after a €1.4M comprehensive refit including all systems and cosmetics, she is available with all features of today’s most cutting edge yachts. Her sailplan is fully controlled by hydraulics, including a Martin Marine carbon fiber mast, 2017 furling boom by Southern Spars, all new sails and full complement of captive winches. ANNY also features a retractable ballasted bulb keel, twin engines and rudders and a myriad of additional hydraulic features to facilitate all the “heavy lifting” normally associated with a yacht of this size. Other key features of the yacht are:
– A large low-profile airy pilothouse saloon with complete helm station
– The solid carbon bimini that lifts and lowers hydraulically and nests on the pilothouse roof if not in use
– Twin MTU Turbo Marine Diesels
– Hydraulically operated lifting bulb keel (2.8m/4.7m) completely rebuilt in 2017:Keel removed, faired, bushings serviced and hydraulic ram replaced
– Sophisticated hydraulically operated opening transom to launch/lift the dinghy and serve as bathing platform
– 5 owner/guest cabins to sleep a total of 10 plus crew quarter to sleep 2

Build BALTIC CUSTOM 87

NAVAL ARCHITECT: Judel/Vrolick
STRUCTURAL DESIGN: SP-Technologies/R&J Design
BUILDER: Baltic Yachts
DELIVERY YEAR: 1996

CONSTRUCTION METHOD:
Hull, Deck and Structural bulkheads built with Sandwich construction with carbon skins, PVC foam cores and some Aramid fibers in outer hull skin for impact resistance all vacuum bagged and infused with epoxy resin. Then post cured to high temperature for maximum strength & durability.

Starting aft her transom and tender storage is an example of the innovation of ANNY. The transom lifts up, the stern opens up allowing one tender to float free of the boat. Then from the tender you can push the “Garage Door Opener”, the transom opens and you can float the tender into the garage, once secured in place, a second tender can then be hoisted aboard with the retractable crane and stored below deck as well. The aft sailing cockpit has twin wheels with controls at both helms for all sailing controls, engine controls, thruster and anchor deployment. The “Entertainment” cockpit features U-shaped seating and drop leaf tables with drinks chillers and glass storage to port and starboard. Over the guest cockpit there is a hydraulically controlled hard top when raised provides protection for the guests and when lowered nestles onto the pilothouse top! The aft deck, side decks and fore deck are expansive and uncluttered. Forward the anchor is deployed by a launching arm that stores below deck. This maintains the clean sharp lines of the performance hull.
